In common with many of today’s multi-million pound organisations, Curryhills Construction has developed from very modest beginnings. The Curryhills founders could not have imagined that this one-man business, established in 2001, would start the upward climb into a leading Civil Engineering company and its Synthetic Sports Surfacing division with projects throughout the United Kingdom.

The company has steadily progressed from its base in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Supported by an increasing reputation for quality workmanship and reliability, the company has undertaken a wide range of projects for both Local Government and the private sector throughout the home counties and nationwide for its sports projects.

Now established as a national contractor, the company is continuing to expand its services to the civil engineering and construction industry including design and construct projects.

Through our estimating and planning departments we can offer full project costing and planning advice, with a workforce in excess of 40 directly employed personnel and some 120 sub-contractors. Large portions of the company turnover are repeat business from clients who wish to continue their association with a successful and expanding construction company.

Within the Group, Curryhills established a sister company, Blackwood Construction, to carry out all its building works in support of its civil engineering and sports surfaces division activities.

At Curryhills we strive for continuous improvement in both management and execution of our services. Our objective is through better understanding of our Clients’ expectations, and by working with them and their professionals, to produce work of the highest quality, on time, within agreed cost parameters, in the safest possible environment.
